These are all songs that are special to my husband and me: thought you'd enjoy them. They're mostly must-haves for any Valentine's Day Mix Tape, but may not show up on most conventional lists that involve Celine Dion or Luther Vandross. Modern love, people. That's what these are for.

This was the first song that Chad played me for "us" and there's just something magical that happened when I realized that I'd met a guy who was wonderful in ways that included 70's singer/songwriter knowledge.


This guy is a poet and there are so many songs that are just amazing. But here's one, for your listening pleasure.



The Weepies = Lovely. Their song "All This Beauty" was on our Rehersal Dinner slideshow WAY before Sex & The City Movie put it on their soundtrack. I say this so you can slowly develop a confidence in my knowledge of good musical things.
